API calculation

SolarFarmer API v7 was released.

New features

  • Custom tracking rotations can now be provided directly via the API — per-tracker for 3D calculations, per-layout for 2D (docs)
  • New CSV output files for tracker rotation and incidence angles (available for both custom and default rotation algorithms)
  • Performance and scalability improvements for large 3D simulations
  • DC ohmic resistance can now be specified in API inputs for more accurate wiring loss calculations

Bug fixes

  • Fixed incorrect transformer loss attribution in multi-transformer 3D calculations (API v6)
  • Fixed failures in IV curve aggregation for 3D workflows with power optimisers
